im tired of rick and morty video essays. im sick and tired of the same guy with the same voice talking about nihilism and apathy. rick and morty isnt about nihilism and anybody who’s actually paying attention should see that

rick and morty is about choosing to love!!!!!!!!! even when it doesnt matter in the grand scheme of the universe!!!!
despite all evidence to the contrary!!! that we could choose cruelty and isolation and bitter biting sarcasm, but we still choose love every time!!!

Because even when he’s talking about how love is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed, he still chooses to stay. and all these video essayists cling to the surface level dialogue without bothering to understand why the words are being said.
its about the opposite of nihilism. it’s about the antidote to nihilism.
how do they keep making the same 45 minute long video that misses the point when the show is begging us to just listen?
